Mr Tang gave excellent service，he is a very thoughtful and warmhearted person. All the skewers are very yummy. The cold noodle soup is very close to local taste too. Definitely will come back again.

Very authentic northeastern Chinese self rotating bbq located in balwyn! This is my second visit to Gu Sam, they have made a very good impression during my last visit. Their original lamb skewers are super juicy and tender, absolutely delicious. Do try their other skewers such as pork intestines, pork belly, corn, etc. Owner is kind and friendly, service was prompt, nothing to complain about at all!

We love lamb skewers, so we went there with pretty high expectations, and we were not disappointed! The skewers were delicious. Additionally, the staff was very attentive, always keeping an eye on our table and advising us on how to cook the skewers for the best taste. We are 100% satisfied and will definitely come back on our special days.

Very delicious barbecue . Beef, pork and lamb were soo beautiful. Cute cosy set up . Next time I’ll get some beer to go with the meat

The menu is a mix of Chinese and Korean food which is a surprise, can’t believe Chinese Korean goes that well. Piping hot charcoal BBQ skewers with icy cold Korean noodles, a must try combination. They also serve Korean wine and beer at reasonable price, and skewers are only from 1.5 each, which makes us stay whole night long. Certainly a place we will go back for more.

Awesome Korean barbecue restaurant in Balwyn. The design is Korean style and I like the barbecue set up on the tables.The staff are friendly and helpful and this is one of few places where you can go by yourself and have a barbecue for one person.The barbecue food is absolutely delicious, you can get a mix between pork, lamb, beef and chicken along with some mushrooms and corn on the BBQ, you will be amazed.Of course there are other options besides barbecue, you can go for seafood or other great Korean dishes.The atmosphere is pretty good and is warm inside during the winter evenings.The place is accessible by transport.The prices are moderate, so with about 10 different barbecue skewers, it is very affordable.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who fancies Korean barbecue.
